Excel Voyager Ribs

Hi All
I'm looking at buying my first RIB. Does anyone have experience of the quality of the EXCEL RIBS from Sutton Coalfield (as opposed to their inflatables)?

Best wishes

David

Here is the website: Excel Inflatables

I'm looking at a Voyager 470 but need some reassurance on quality.

My first inflatable was an SD330 which was great although I only had it for a season. I bought a speed boat followed by a 480SR from Menai Marine. They will build a rib to your own spec and at a reasonable price. Excel I think are made in the far east (the menai north wales). I would also look around for secondhand ribs. You might be able to pick up a Humber or Ribcraft.

Thanks both

In the end I've decided to go for a new 5m Humber.

Best wishes

A good choice. Have you decided which engine?
