eBay Scam

My 15' Avon SIB with 30hp Nissan that I bought on eBay in March keeps showing up for sale by different sellers. Sometimes posted for sale in US, sometimes in the UK. Posting states it comes with a "clear NC title or bill of sale". The boat is still in NC! Just wanted to warn anyone looking to buy a boat on eBay to be careful.

No I think he means he bought it but other people are using the photos etc to try and sell a boat they don't have.

No I bought and received it. Worked out great. But the listing has shown up about 6 times now under different sellers names. Listing is exactly the same just a different buyer profile. Looks legit! seller always has 100% positive ratings etc. Only give away for the unknowing is the seller location is CA or UK or somewhere else far away and listing states comes with NC registration. Sometimes has a very short listing time. First time it showed up was about a week after I paid for it but hadn't picked it up. I about had a heart attack! I've contacted e-bay each time and they remove the ad, but it keeps showing up. But item will reappear a couple days later under a different seller name. Its currently listed as a 6 day auction with a UK location. I'm waiting to see if e-bay will pick it up as afraud by themselves.

Do a search for Avon Inflatable on e-bay and see if you can tell if it is a fraud. Item listing is: Avon 15' Inflatable boat, motor, and trailer. Like New!

Someone's trying make a fast buck and I wanted to warn anyone who might fall for it.
