Dry trousers

Is there anyone out there that makes Dry trousers with intergrated socks?

I'm fed up strugging into and out of my dry suit and want a two piecer.

I've asked in a couple of Chandlerys and none of the big manufacturers seem to sell them.

Ravenspring !

Ask them to put a pair of boots on instead of the socks. Although they don't advertise it they will do it.

At the moment I'm using a neoprene set of waders. Very warm and seem to be tough. Only cost £44 including next day delivery. They seem a lot better at lasting than the crappy nylon waders I bought for £30, which lasted all of two goes over a year period. Don't look very boaty though.

I've promised myself a set of Ravenspring trousers for the New Year though.

They'll even do a RIBNET logo if you can get the rights to it from JK.

A possible cheap option if you've got a spare drysuit. Would be to cut the drysuit down and sow the seems.

Andy,

Heres a link to the waders I can recomend.

http://www.lathams-fishing.co.uk/pro...tegory/37.html

Plus points are they are sturdy and warm. And cheap !

Downside they are only available in green and the material is thick like a wetsuit.

PS. Order a larger boot size than you are used to. The wellies are quite a tight fit.

Nick.

Palm sidewinder dry trousers very nice kit but not cheap £179
Try here kayaksandpaddles.co.uk may be other ones also .

From experience 2 piece dry suits are not much use if you are in the water . great in a kayak but the waist is impossible to seal very well

Those Kayak trousers look good, wonder if you could attach a boot of some descripting to the trouser legs instead of the sock?

What I want Ian are some dry trousers for launching and recovering my RIB, I have a dry suit already but it's a pain to get into and out of when the conditions are good. Very time restrictive when you're gasping for a beer at journeys end

I guess a pair of old trainers or sandals over the sock is what you need .

surely a pair of fishermans chest waders is the answer

Iam going to have to get something for the winter , recovering mostly single handed is difficult without getting in just above welly height at my local slip.

Dry legs?

When I have got a boat to launch I use neoprene chest waders all the time As Ian says they make life a lot easier, especially, when single handed IMHO.

Yes, great, but I have a question.

How do you get them off???

I find that if I haven't got the other half to pull I am stuck!!

I just take the straps off my shoulders and push them down all the way to my ankles
Mine are reasonably close fitting, but I do not have a problem getting them on or off. Without wishing to offend, have you tried a larger size?
