Dry Dock

We have looked at a couple of options for our small RIB 4.8m and a friend is also looking to dry dock his Zapcat. Any ideas, suggestions or experience?

WE are after something that can be permantly moored to the pontoon, we can drive off and on and has zero maintenance>

Check out company in the USA

Always worth trawling through USA web sites the cost to ship from Jacksonville to the UK is very cheap indeed and with the weakness of the dollor against the GBP right now you will save 50% landed in the UK
I am not trying to take work away from the UK but as we are based here part time I find it amazing people even consider the prices in Rip off Britain and thats coming from a true Brit ! If you want to know any more mail me and I will put you in touch with the right people over here.

Doug

You might contact Torquay Marina (MDL) & find out what they use as they have it in their marina

Just remember the ONLY reason the prices in the States are so good is because the dollar has all but collapsed!!! Also it is only products made in the USA or designed primarily for the Yank market - for example Raymarine are hardly any cheaper in the States cos they come from here!!!

Also most computer gear comes from the Far East so again is no cheaper in the USA!!!
