Wow this is an old thread!

That boat is as below:

Ready to drive away Including VAT with a 100EFI Mercury £28,935

• BananaShark in house moulded “Ultradry” hull
• Distinctive 2 tone tapered Hypalon 1200mg large black D fender, 4 grab handles with full warranty
• Seating: 2 Double jockey pods, rear bench seat for 3 – seats 7 people safely
• Double centre console with instrument recesses
• Optional Tekdek teak effect flooring
• Mercury SmartCraft instruments (optional on some engines), including fuel flow rate, fuel used, fuel level, trim/tilt, engine temperature, water pressure, air temperature, sea temperature, RPM, speed, oil level, engine hours, etc
• Optional red LED deck lights
• Bow cleat and bow fair lead
• Elephant trunks
• Hydraulic steering
• Automatic bilge pump and elephant trunk
• Raised bow deck with anchor locker
• Fire extinguisher in moulded GRP holder
• 91 litre fuel tank
• Water separator and fuel isolation valve
• Battery and isolation switch
• Transom ski eyes
• Optional “A” frame
• Optional sound systems including “Ipod” based systems

The specs are very flexible as we make to order - we can do the same hull without the rear deck and bench seat with simple jockey seat for a lot less!

Pablo - that is with the 115 EFI Mercury - which engine would you like it with - we will recertify with whatever engine you like so long as we consider it safe for that hull. I assume you mean dropped for CE purposes? I think you will find that the photo above is considerable proof that the construction is adequate!

Neilda - If you land transom first the landings are quite pleasant! (nothing was squashed in the making of this photo!)

Jizm - We would consider fitting a 150 to this hull if it was for use as a diveboat and driven responsibly, divers carry a lot of kit and the extra power allows them to cruise without having to use WOT the whole time, but with that motor on a regular boat it would be a very fast boat and certainly exceed 55 mph be a decent margin, the 115 does 46mph on a GPS average on a two way run!

We haven't tried one with a 100 on yet - the 120hp diesel waterjet version does mid 30's comfortably and copes with rough stuff very well indeed, I would think it would still manage 40mph with a 100hp four stroke on.

How much is alot less for a boat with none of the fancy bits, ie double jockey seat and normal fibreglass deck?
Still want the biggest engine though!

OK - how about this - twin double jockeys, BananaShark console, plain deck with nonslip, plain open transom, fuel tank to suit you. What size and make of engine would you like? Happy to discuss it on here or by email if you wish - cookee@bananasharkracing.com.

Just wondered mate, its nice to have an idea of different prices from different builders.
If I did get one it would be an Evinrude.

Sorry I missed your reply!

Mercury 150hp Optimax (anything bigger would not be very usable) twin double jockeys, BananaShark console, plain deck with nonslip, plain open transom, fuel tank to suit you. Trailer etc. to suit also available £27,950 inc VAT Ex works.

Let me know when you want it for!
