It's held when it's lowest springs of the year, usually September. A quick look in the almanac suggests lowest springs this year are on 21 August and 19 September. I suggest you check the websites of the Island Sailing Club and the Royal Southern Yacht Club - nothing about the 2005 match on either site yet though! Hope this helps (a bit!).
