Do I need halkey roberts ring for pump?

My caribe has push pull valves, they have halkey roberts covers.

Do I need a halkey roberts adapter to use my hand pump or can I just put a normal adaptor over the red button and inflate?

I spent hours messing around the over day trying to get air in my Ribeye tubes. (I believe they are the HR type.?). I ended up just using a standard pump and correct size adaptor.

Made it a two man job though.

Wouldn't wanna be doing it out at sea.

do u have push pull valves too?

yeah no way id be doing that at sea, luckily she still floats if the tubes are deflated haha.

think ill spring for a $7 fitting for the pump, just annoying how little things add up. if i could get one here id get an inline adaptor and gauge. its going to be annoying using a gauge and having a little deflate.
