Richard Reddyhof had that boat built 20ish years ago for some ambitious cruising (Bay of Biscay springs to mind). He towed me back with it from half way across the channel when I picked up some dodgy petrol in France!

Should make a good project for someone.

I'm not sure it's worth rebuilding that Merc v8 diesel.

Spares are basically unobtainable for those you're right. It'll need a new engine !!

I doubt the drive can be saved either.

It is non-the-less a scorpion hull !!

It's been renamed, it was Mary Mouse Seven which was built for round Britain. I too was offered it and I did manage to trace it's history to a point As i did think it was a hot lemon, which it isn't.

I do have a 245hp yamaha 6 cyl diesel and leg

Engine parts

Are these the correct parts diagrams?

https://www.perfprotech.com/mercury-...n-driveinboard

The letters "NLA" are prominent in the parts lists!

It's kind of irrelevant as you'll never it it running with a v8 diesel ever again - there all broken.

A better question might be how fast would it go with a 6LP, on a new bravo 3 X-drive.
