Dating Ribeye

Can anyone tell me how to date a Ribeye by looking at the serial number. Are the two last digits the year?

Tim looking at my Ribeyes I have one ending 04 which was released as a 2005 boat and have one ending 08 which I have just taken delivery so it does look like the manufacture year but not necessarily the year of registration. Also look at the tube colours as they have changed also. Ribeye John Wood would help you also.

Thanks Ian. That makes sence; this one ends in 03 which made me think it must be a 2003 model.
