Damaged Rubbing Strake

I have managed to damage my Rubbing Strake against a rough edged pontoon - see attached picture. Any ideas how I could repair or cover this?

Well I guess that's what the rubbing strake is for. Just as well that and not the tubes. Painful and annoying mistake and guess you won't be doing that again soon. Remember your fenders every time you moor up against anything.

Try and tidy the cut edge up and smooth it down a little with perhaps coarse sand paper - will help aesthetically.
