Hi there just bought an Avon adventurer and need to replace the cover as its seen better days was wondering if anyone can recommend anyone in the lymington area for making a replacement?

I used Sails, Sailmaking, Sailmakers, Lymington, South Coast, Hampshire, Sanders, Saunders, Yacht, marine upholstery, dinghies, quality, boat, design, standard, UK, www.sanders-sails.co.uk
and had them make up a 655 full cover- BHG also I believe use them

Thanks I have asked them for a quote! Out of interest how much did they charge you?

Off top of head I think this one was circa 6-700

Mine was about 450.(via BHG) when I got the boat...another 4m adventure.

Never did understand why they didn't run it to go over the transom..?..all the run off just drops down into the boat

Similar design around the a frame as mine with the snow/rain last week the transom well was full

But on each one you can request your own set up/cut etc

Nice looking cover, hopefully I will get one sorted soon as the one I got with the rib has ripped to shreds by the GPS cradle on the top of the console!

Did they take all the measurements or did you have to do it for them?

They come to your boat and talk through options and fits then do a stencil of cover and go away and price it depending on material etc, then make the one you want

Got my cover finished got to say well pleased with it wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for I guess!
