They look pretty good for the money, but sadly no-where near big enough.

I haven't had good luck with off the shelf covers. They never fit well as are so generic. Having the builder provide a console cover (or even full cover) that is custom built to fit the boat properly is usually the way to go.

Master Covers at Port Solent made me a great cover 4 years ago thats still going strong, can recommend but you are talking 300-400 quid.

Just found the email - it WAS starspring!!!

"Thanks for you email. The RIB certainly looks the business ! But the web site refers to 8.8 meter not 8.5 meter, so I am assuming it is the 8.8 and used the dimensions accordingly. The price would be 800 euro plus vat and airmail post, packing and insurance of say 50 euro.
The outboard motor cover would be 116 euro plus vat"

Give us a ring or e-mail 01983872817 bembridge@outboards.fsbusiness.co.uk
if you would like any info or want to order, we take cards, obviously the covers are made to a price so don't expect an exact fit, some fit better than others , if you have an exceptionally high screen then give us a ring with a maximum width across your screen and down under the fender line each side we can advise from there, photos if possable. photos are of an Avon 620 with frame cut outs.

I had one of these on a 5.7metre assault and it worked fine, the only bind was finding the front(which is marked by a white label) and a mark I put on with an indellible pen
