Could this be the perfect RIB?

Was out and about today and saw this fantastic RIB, I took a couple of pictures but have blanked out the face of the skipper as I don't know who it is and it would not be right, but here is the boat, any views on one of these before I go and make more enquiries about them, it certainly looks the part

This rib is a Parker 900 Baltic and belongs to our ex-Distributor David Butler

The rib is a stunning piece of kit. No problems at all. The engine is the latest Cummins Mercruiser 320 HP linked to the Bravo 3 drive. Navigation equipment is the C120 from Raymarine

The Baltic hull has proven to be a great success and during the week will post pictures of our latest Parker 900 Baltic c/w twin Verado 275 and the latest Neptune console

Just looked at the .pl website and saw the same boat in the advert, certainly some interesting configurations on there. What would be the weight of a 900 with a trailer? if you could tow it that is.

The rib has a 3.12 mtr beam so for towing you need to deflate the tubes. It was towed to the UK behind a lightweight truck so no ordinary 4 x 4 can do the job

No problem for my 'beast' to pull, I am going to make enquiries on the cost of a trailer just for info. I am lurking on the edge of going RIB, but still can't understand the oddballs that own them I must be missing something in life but as they saying goes 'if you can't beat them join them'

I just need 5 good reasons why a RIB is better than my fantastic speedy hard boat (err..to justify the purchase to my wife )

1. Its softer for when the missus drives at the quay
2. Its softer for when you accidentally bump the quay
3. Its softer for when your "mate" takes it straight at the quay
4. Its easier to get your missuses hand bag back over the side if she drops it overboard.
5. It just looks so much cooler than a hard boat...

Blimey!

Blimey, 'Emmigration forces sale'! Dont tell me that David B, once banned from rib.net felt that he no longer could stay in the country and had to leave!

Bravo Three, have you gone above 300 hp in previous builds when coupling to a Bravo Three, I am of the opinion that with diesels, anything above 300hp and Bravo Threes arnt able for the torque the diesel unit developes.
I am just wondering have you had any failures with the Cummins Diesels 320 s and Bravo Three, legs , so far.

Build cost £650000 plus vat only 10 hours running must sell hence absolute sacrifice .

can this be right? does he mean 65,000 perchance?

The blue light on the radar arch looks interesting Would it be illegal to blast around with that on, its not a road?

This boat looks stunning in real life, but the colours are a bit commercial and it would be nice to have a cuddy type enclosure to sit in out of the wind to make a cup of tea
