back in 86 - i used to do a lot with Steve Curtis and his mum at cougars on the Hamble - bearing in mind he is the world champion many times over of class 1 offshore powerboat racing (throttle man) and the experience/ pedigree the team has - its a bit like buying an Aston Martin DB9 - you will not be dissapointed.....!

i could only get 77 kts out of the one we played with.... but sorry the specs classified :-)

yep been there driven them - thats me driving the R10. Nice boats bit pricey for an open boat perhaps but handled the remnants of the preceding few days irish sea gales on that photoshoot, which was off the Isle of Man, with no trouble at all. When we looked at the chop we thought we were gonna get bounced about but no probs at all - raceboat hull with very smooth ride.

Watch it lanky, or I'll remove your training wheels.

Cougar

That boat was in the papers today built by Halmatic in Portsmouth for use by the SBS and Marines.

Also seen in Alderney in the winter and Guernsey
