Interesting question.

Yes, I carried out the works, I think that to date it has been part of the fun of learning new skills ect.

My lessons for the next one...Hmmm....sometimes just a simple lesson of 'love the one you with'

If its any consolation, I spent about £13k tidying up my £2500 boat. It looks good and goes well now though and I tell myself most of the new stuff can be transferred to a new hull (when the missus lets me upgrade the only original bit!).
