Well ....... given I was stuck in the sand and the incoming tide had reached the top of the bumper ( Vauxhall Omega estate) before a kind gent with a beat up old Shogun winched me out ..... I was very lucky
Both a Freelander and pretty shogun failed to pull me out. Didn't do the fancy electric seats and airbag warning system much good .... and a year later when it went to the auctions, I had to wipe a nice salt mine out of the spare wheel well !
Chesterfield is Chesterfield ..... and almost the furthest point in the UK from the sea !!
But we do manage to get around quite a bit !
