Cleaning hull

My RIB has been on a pontoon for a few weeks and I took it out of the water to jetwash it a couple of weeks ago. Most of the green came off except at the back where the engine is. I didn’t have time to start scrubbing it so plan to take it out of the water again and clean it. Can anyone suggest what would get the fibreglass nice and white again?

Yep I'd second that oxcalic acid is the basis for lots of marine cleaners but without the marine price tag
Buy the powder and dilute to suit

Not sure about oak ,but if you buy 500g on ebay like i have many times ,you will recieve instructions for mixing as a hull cleaner or as a wood bleach , i use it every year on my iroko decking and it brings it up superb prior to refinishing with osmo oil .

What it does is removes the dead greyed surface from the sun , i would describe it as blondes the wood ,gets it back to before it saw a sunny day ,i reckon i have heard results are fantastic on oak ,but i am reluctannt to say that as theres always somebody comes along to say your talking c ....,so buy a small quantity and give it a go .........

Hi id say on the teak it brought out the colour rather than bleaching it. It had gone grey too but the oxcalic acid seemed to return the natural wood color instead of the silvery grey it was
