Cherbourg- all expenses paid

Does anybody with there RIB (needs to be a reasonable size 6.5 - 9m) want to go accross to Cherbourge next Friday (12th) and provide support for a young lady who is attempting to cross the channel on a kite surfer.

You can either go accross Thursday and stay in a paid for hotel (and other expenses) or go accross Friday morning early and come back the same day. There is also a Sunseeker going so you won't be the only boat.

There is no fee paid for the boat but they will pay for fuel, £100 per skipper and I suggested there would be two and also claim all expenses.

I need to know quite urgently so if interested call me on 07979 533 722 or mail me.

The support will run from Cherbourg to Poole.

Wow, that sounds too good to be true. I'll give you a call in the morning'ish (Sunday).

Weve just done the trip today in our Phantom Evo. Had a great time but the £200.00 fuel did hurt so if the Weathers good & I suppose it will have to be for a Kite surfer, count us in.

Our boat is 7.5m with 225 Opti.

Sorry i cannot help on this occasion as i am off the island on a work trip. Living 'round the corner' from Cherbourg on Alderney i would have come round just to give a bit of support, especially as i use my rib as a chase craft when i go kite surfing.
