Chartering small ribs in the Solent.

I wish to charter a RIB in the Solent for a day and I wondered if you guys knew of any companies who rent small (3.5-4 metre) RIBs to someone with an RYA Level 2 certificate...

This is keeping in mind that I am a student and I can't afford much, otherwise I'd be looking to charter 7 metre RIB

EDIT: Or possibly even smaller, a little 3 metre tender would do, but it'd be nicer to get access to something larger.

Make me an offer for a day on my sea rider sr4.7 . It's based in Southampton and all the money goes to the SOC fund

Also looking to charter in Solent area from time to time - perhaps consider sharing a day on a boat to keep cost reasonable? Gotta 3.6m + 18hp small inflatable of my own, but a bit limited!

Hi Pepper

Have you come out of the closet?

See my post on 'Where the heck are they'.

Do you fancy a trip up to the Scottish Highlands?

Hello Keith,

I thought I might draw you out with the mention of an SIB! Whilst Scotland would certainly be a good SIB-ing location, I get the shakes if I go further north than Oxford, and I can just about manage the Midlands without actually getting ill!

My little boat spent most of last year on the Thames, and unfortuanately hasn't been out yet this year - I've been spending time on big bad RIBs on the Solent and around the South Devon coast.

I'll get some of last years SIB photos and post them in the gallery.

Happy SIB-ing!
(It's not what you've got, it's how you use it, eh?)
