Cookee...thanks for the tour of Stirling. Much appreciated :-) We didn't quite make your 60mph on the way back to Falmouth, it was a tad lumpy in places

'Stirling' does circa 60mph and Cookee probably sampled that on the way (all the way?) from Salcombe to Charlestown. We couldn't match that with our lowly 90hp...

The best we've seen is 65mph although with bigger props we're hoping for over 65mph - managed 40mph yesterday afternoon - we only saw a 22' yacht with a broken rudder and did a bit of VHF relay for them, a warship messing around with a RIB off Plymouth (designation H and some numbers?), and a large Thames Barge type thing from France coming into Salcombe and not much else - must have been rough then!

At one point Kevin saw a wave breaking above my head to starboard so we reckon the waves were over 15' and breaking and we never felt in any danger at all, in fact it was a great afternoon and makes us confident in the boat for Round Britain and Cowes Monte Carlo in 2013

Mollers did we miss you or were you doing other things?

Had Helford River Regatta on Sat. Had every intention of flying up on Sun. Unfortuntely, a dodgy oyster got me. Eyes and lips looked like Homer Simpson's uglier cousin.

Nah, had a shellfish allergy for years, but still love it. Sometimes it get's me usually not. Itchy lips are the signal to hit the antihistamines.

Helford River native oysters are 'ansome.
