Chandlery 'Supermarket'?

I have heard that there is a huge supermarket sized general marine Chandlery somewhere near Southampton (Solent Village?) where you can pick up all the 'bits' needed (or at least chose them, and possibly puchase on the web if prices are not good!). We will be based in Lymington this coming week. I would love to know where it, or similar, are?

Thanks

Bruce

Yes, it's at Port Solent: http://www.marine-super-store.com/

But if I remember correctly, there's an establishment on Bath Road in Lymington (it's changed hands a couple of times over the last few years, but now I think it's a "Force 4") and of course there's the well established "Yachtmail" chandlery at Lymington Town Quay

RIBase
Marine Superstore

The Marine Superstore at Port Solent will do mail order from their website and do not charge for delivery.

However, I find their website a little difficult to get around and usually best to telephone.

As a matter of princip[le i hate agreeing with Richard B but those are good places in Lymington Port Solent is kwite a schlapp from Lymington, maybe a 100 mile round trip and the superstore is OK but it's not particularly powerboat focussed. You might find it's worth checking out BHG marines shop which I think is in Lymington or Bucklers Hard. Theres also a couple of good power boat places in Poole.

if yoiu do decide to drive to Porto Sol Ento however it's only a mile away from the motorway and is easy to find.

Heres a link to BHG website which isn't very sexy but it has the address
