Centre console

Hi guys,

I currently own an avon rover 340 love the boat can't fault it however really want to put a centre console in with a steering wheel, any one done anything similar? How hard/easy is is if to do? I'm in southampton (parts and labour)

Its easy DIY to do (assuming a double skin floor). Console, steering and control box all off the shelf to match engine and boat length. With new parts you are looking around £500, used parts can reduce that by half.

But putting a console in a 340 hugely reduces the floor area. From easily being able to carry 5 or 6 people, 3 becomes a squash.

I've got a 2 person centre console here that would be ideal for an Avon 340. It's a Brig one, unused. Let me know if it's of interest to you.

Looking for £300. No steering with it but otherwise identical to the one in the pic. It's in Carms. Could arrange pallet delivery at cost.
