Brittany / Isle of Man: Refuelling points

Hello Ribnetters,
I am gathering information for a friend planning a Brittany / Isle of Man cruise with his X690 Arimar and 225 Suzuki.
Even though his fuel tank seems huge to me (200litres+), he'd like to be able to locate easy-to-use refuelling points along the way so if somebody could point me in the right direction for web sites or local information that'd be sweet
(essentially dockside petrol pumps located in Wales and Cornwall)
Thank you very much for your help.

Don't know south Wales but in North Wales he is limited to Pwllheli and Conwy for petrol available on pontoon pumps.
Holyhead requires cans to the local garage, not sure how far from the pontoons this is.

As far as I am aware only Cardiff/Penarth marina has petrol pumps in south Wales. The fact Swansea marina doesn't have any is a joke considering hpow big it is and how much the council has spent on it. Maybe it will change when they get rid of red diesel?

There is a Sainsbury petrol station about 300 yards from the river by Swansea marina so a small folding sack truck and some jerry cans could help out - it's quite a lot further out of his way up to Cardiff.

Falmouth has dockside fuel a little up the mouth of the estuary on the port side.

Dont come this way (Isle of Man) and expect fuel from a pump at the quay side unless you burn diesel, On saying that, no problems with 60 or more lts in cans (Plastic or otherwise) from garages but at a cost 94p/Lt at present.

If you use diesel you will find tanks on most harbours, call Harbour on 12 for Info

Plenty of ribs here so you will always find some help to tansport cans.

If you go to the Downloads section of this website................
then download UK and Ireland Marinas..........(if you are an Excel user)
then look down to the relevant section.................
there is located, under each town/place, a marina website.
The website of the marina should give you whether or not petrol is available.
From this you can plan your route.
