Bravo OV10 230V Electric Pump

Has anyone used/tried the Bravo OV10 230V Electric inflator pump?

Specs are:

Max Pressure 250mbar/3.6psi
Max Flow Rate: 1700 litres/min
http://www.scoprega.it/pdf/pompe/pom...ic%20pumps.pdf

I'm looks for a mains inflator; was also looking at the Bravo 2000 but that is considerably more expensive.

The working pressure of the tubes on my Rib are 250mbar and I think 1700 litres per min is pretty good, but would appreciate any first hand feedback.

Have ordered form the factory the OV6 & OV10, first one is the same version of the OV10, but just inflates to 2.5 psi, ideal for summer use when don't need to have tubes top inflated and the OV10 ideal for winter use when need max tube psi inflation. Should work ok, much cheaper than more pro models.

Thanks for your reply. Do you reckon it will cope with being using 2-3 times per week to inflate the tubes on a 6m RIB?

Or should I consider one of the PRO models for that kind of use?

Are you planing complete deflation, inflation 2,3 times per week or just to top tubes each time. Will the rib be living anchored, moored, whatever ? or taken out when boating has finished ? Being a rib, don't need real hard tubes as if it were a sib to perform well. Morning Inflation to 2.5 psi in plain summer will be enough, probably will end at 3.0 psi at mid day.

Other nice hand pump that pumps good air volume for inflation or topping is the Bravo 4 Alu, it's double pump that inflates both ways, you can modify internally to work just when stroking down, inflates real sweet, comes with a gauge that attaches to upper hose. Could combine both, one for full chamber inflation, other to top...

Happy Boating

Thanks for your reply.

Mid Section and rear tubes will be almost completely deflated to get into the garage opening and then slightly reinflated once inside. This is for use in winter where I will be launching and recovering at the end of the day.

I would prefer something electric rather than having to manually inflate each time and have a 230V outlet in the garage, so don't really see the need to 12V.

Thanks Nick

Decided to go for a Bravo BST12 HP Battery Inflation Pump which I found for £116 incl VAT due to its portability gives me more freedom when I need to pump the tubes.

And hopefully 450L per min is still more than sufficient.
