Boats and Outboard adverts AGAIN

I am aware that over the years many forum users have had issues with Boats and Outboards - these people Buy and sell new and used boats at Boats and Outboards and not one of our forum members.

I have placed an ad with them for a RIB sale and have received confirmation e mails stating follow this link to view your ad- NOTHING- shows "Sorry, we can't find the advert you are looking for." I have even amended it and gained another link to my add and again the same response when I follow their link.

Firstly is usual? and what action can be taken to rectify this. Certainly as a customer service issue they have failed

Hi Ian, I've advertised before and although they send you a link straight away it can take a while for it to appear.

This is what I was sent in e mails and I have edited a line and got the same update email

"Success! Your advert is now live on BoatsandOutboards.co.uk"

Still nothing. as others have added it may take a while- so why send link?

Well it is now on their site but WITHOUT the submitted image and as I added the single image and saved it the whole system showed me in ABERDEEN ! and not Hampshire. AND i have just reviewed it and now showing the petrol engine as deisel. So back to edit again!!

I am sure they will blame the user (me) but hardly a simple process even to update .

Just an as update Boats and Outboards ad was placed eventually here Ribtec Other Ribs for sale , Ribtec 655 - Boats And Outboards AND they have just added the image I e mailed over tonight

BUT strangely I have recent e mails tonight stating they cannot find my ad or my email links despite emails to my account.

I have asked them to investigate tomorrow as I have made on line payments for ad and phots they say they did not get. I will keep you posted.
