Boating xmas gift

With the wind picking up outside and 70mph gusts out in the solent I'm thinking ;

What do I ask for/ get myself as an xmas pressie to myself ??

Tempted by an HD action cam, but really cant justify the cost for the use I'd give it

So whats on peoples xmas list to do with boating or just in general?

I have been tempted by an SR4 ( just because I've driven but never owned one) but thats just daft isn't it ?

My mother in law is getting me an orange smoke flare.
Mostly as mail order is difficult and she lives near a chandler - She's not quite taken the significance of mother-in -law and distress signal

The Prefect Christmas Present

I'm not the easiest to buy for. Or so I thought until I found this lot online Linky. I tipped off the likely buyers and now I'm waiting for Santa...

So it will be a bottle of Elements of Islay for you my boy with maybe a tee shirt thrown in. I think I chance my luck and ask for a btl of Stillman's Dram from my favourite island distillery, you know the one!!
Anyway mate hope you get it and enjoy, have a lovely time personally and a busy time business wise.

That's uncanny!

I had my eye on that...

Stillman's Dram, eh? I can see that this could turn out to be a serious undertaking. Maybe we should hold off and discuss this exchange of hostages over a wee drap or sivin in the Isles in 2012?

I'd have thought that was a plus point! However far cheaper to find your daughter a new college which she can boat to and pay for a PB2 (if needed) and insure the boat for her than driving lessons and car insurance!

Hi Pete, Here's a few ideas....

Waterproof phone case:

Waterproof Phone Cases

Musto offshore gloves:

Musto Offshore Gloves (AS0221) | eBay

Pop up tent for beach camping:

Instant tents - Quechua

A Holiday where you can take your rib/sib somewhere different and explore:

Salcombe Harbour guide

And a boat friendly campsite here:

Higher Rew Caravan and Camping Park - Salcombe, South Devon - Home

Or SR4's are cool too

Musto gloves blow chunks but pop-up tents are great; I have one myself. I'd like a 12m Ribcraft with twin jets and a hydraulic crane.
