boat show

hi lads and lassies. i am wondering if any one knows of a good place to stay while in southampton for the boat show? hotels or b+b?,regards.

forget southampton its overpiced and the hotels put their rates up for the fortnight stay in a BB on cowes far cheaper and better !

You could stay in Portsmouth - last year they ran a ferry from Gunwharf to the boat show every day. Worth checking it out as it might be good! There is a cheap holiday inn in gunwharf as well.

last year when i went down left we till we were there to find a bnb, and the only place we could find was a right dump and it was £150 for a bed for the night.

DO NOT stay in the roundabout hotel in Farham......... It has to be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in (in the westren world)

We had such a laugh taking the p**s out of the place

It look liked an X Knocking shop inside !!!

Farham on tthe other hand is lovley... I asume Jackeens could recomond a place to stay there... night life is ok too , and its 15 mins from southampton

they were up all night varnishing the tables for you lot !!!!!

Heard about you and the 'fastest car in the world' too...
