Hi,

Im looking to hire a Rib (5m +) for a week around the 9th of July. Needing it to go from Largs accross to our sail boat in Milport then will pull it behind for the week when were sailing using it to do the odd dive from and pop into marinas.

I live in Aberdeen so happy to pick one up from Aberdeen to Largs (have a towbar for towing). Im RYA Powerboat L2 certified and also have a fair bit of experience sailing so it would be in safe hands. Happy to leave a healthy deposit too.

Get in touch if you have anything suitable or know of someone who could help. I have contacted Scottish Rib Charter but they dont have anything available

5m+ is a hell of a size to "pull it behind" a yacht - unless the yacht is a hell of a size too. You might want to have a look at: Boat Hire, Outboard Hire and Marine Equipment Hire :: Boats2Go

Thanks for the link. The yacht is 40ft and weve had a 4m behind it before...there wasnt too much impact on speed so I thought 5-5.5m would just about be ok although I appreciate there will be a fair bit of drag from it.

Hello I am in a similar situation I am looking to hire/ borrow a rib for four days commencing Tuesday 28th July. I have my level two power boat and looking for a four person boat although don't mind if that includes sitting on the sponsons.
Would be good to go from largs

Try DDZ marine in Largs speak to Dino he might have something he will hire you doesn't publicise it but has hired boats out in the past
