B7 Valve

Hi,

My RIB (4.8m RC) has 3 of these valves - form looking online and the picture I assume they are B7 valves. I was wondering, are they the type which will release air if the sponsons are over filled? And if so, when this happens does it trash the valve and therefore need replacing? If so, should I carry a spare?

Thanks!

a safety relief valve is just that and usually next to the fill/deflation valves as in the picture when you take the cap off there's just a rubber disc which opens at a given pressure, there are different pressure relief valves.
