Avon SR4 without console
Hi, I'm hoping to view an old Avon SR4 this evening or tomorrow. It is an old orange hull with grey tubes boat with no console. The boat has two old wooden seats. It is fitted with a 9.9 Yamaha outboard tiller steered. I'm tempted to buy this and use it with a 15 Yamaha that I already have. Then I would like to add a console and a 40hp outboard over the winter.
Are all SR4's the same? Are there different model types?
Are there different tubes sizes? Will I have issues adding a console?
If I needed to get it retubed are the tubes available off the shelf?
