Avon SR4 Searider

Hi

Might have to sell my Searider and wondered what would be a fair price to expect.

Its around 1990 with a Mariner 50 and on a 'new' Bramber trailer (2006).

Really nice condition and I have all the original documents including the assembly instructions ans service log. Comes with a full cover.

Any help would be appreciated.

TT.

Has it got a centre console or is it the retro porn dash and seats?
Any photos?

I would say somewhere around £2000.

I paid £1300 for mine, it had the same layout as yours, a 60hp Mercury and old Snipe trailer, the outfit was all mid eighties.

You might get more for it, it looks nice and tidy.

Looks very tidy! What weight is the trailer? Should bump the price up.
Where can I buy them front seats from?

No mate, the bit under your legs sticks up more than a cobra bucket seat.
Taken one egg of your plate for that!

Tom,
Why not place an add in the RIB's for sale section

Ah there's a reason mate
Wanted one for a suicd seat in front of the console but angled back abit. The extended front would help for comfort.

Don't know whether this helps or not, but Sports Boat and RIB magazine tested an Avon Searider 4.0 with a 50hp Mercury Blue Band 2 and pitted it against a modern 410 Adventure in the May issue a couple of months ago.

The magazine valued it at £2500.

Elsewhere in that edition a similar, possibly the same boat was advertised at about the same price.

Thanks for the info.

I'll set the reserve just under that and see how I get on.

Thanks again

Just wondering if you have sold your rib yet and if not what price did you end up advertising it for?
