Avon Seasport 545 Gelcoat

Hi All,

I have an Avon Seasport 545. Very happy with it.

Over the winter I am going to redo the gelcoat on the whole hull. I have plenty of time and sanders, grinders for polishing etc etc... I will probably even enjoy it LOL

Anyway I was wondering about one thing.

It's on a trailer. What is the normal method? Leave it on the trailer? reach round everything you can then when it's all finished jack up the stern or the bow to reveal the missing bits and just quickly do them... or get it off onto stands and chocks? or maybe jack up one side 6 inches while the other side rests on the trailer rollers, do the whole of that side then repeat ? Or???

I am not sure what is the best was to go.

Any inputs much appreciated.
