If it's just as a get ashore tender or the odd jolly lack of range won't be a problem & even if it's getting used as a toy for ringos etc it can always be plugged in for a partial charge while the owners have a break/meal/g&t/sunbathe.
This is aimed at a market where the boats do very little running and it alleviates worrying about carrying & storing fuel

this is one for next time we have a meal

the options are burn more oil/coal or someone invent a cheap power storage option for wind/solar/wave tech, i'm afraid nuke (IMO) makes sense at current time. however, do take the time to look at MSR reactors, that is a game changer.

Move to NZ.... at the last count 81% renewable...although we have only 4.5million people on a land area not dissimilar to the British Isles.

Plus my RIB is still petrol.....
