Avon Dinghy - AFT sagging

Hi there,

I just bought a 1998 Avon Dinghy with a 20 HP Tohatsu outboard. I am not sure what model Avon it is.

As soon as I put it in the water, I noticed that the AFT is really sagging. It almost looks so low that it seems the water could start pouring inside the boat.

I have attached pictures of the water line and how it looks from the side. here is a video as well - https://youtu.be/90ZjPeuvIj4

I made sure the air pressure is fine. Is this normal? Is there some adjustment I need to do the outboard? Any suggestions would be helpful. This is my first inflatable.

Thank you in advance.

I have been reading other peoples post and one of the things to check was if there was water in the tubes - I used a shop vacuum and did not find any water coming out of the tube.

The boat had been sitting in Seattle rain for months before I bought it..

RIBase
since you have all the weight at the stern i would expect it to be that low in the water but your transom seems a strange one very low has it been cut down or am i not seeing it properly

looking at it more closely you have your engine, seat , yourself, battery & fuel all at or near the stern thats a lot of weight aft

Can you move your console, seat and fuel tank forward? Everything is too far aft at the moment.
