There is a big thread on the hull truth buddy.

I think they have a deal on just now at 150 dollars if I'm thinking of the right one, you basically wear a wristband?

Sorry, no experience of them though.

Many thanks for the two comments. I guess these kill cords are not very popular of perhaps not known very well in the UK

I seem to remember from the 'great killcord debate' that Autotether weren't available in the UK.

Some problems already have been solved!!..Like the very low cost...very low Tec ...VERY reliable...easily and quickly tested ...very durable...and well proven Kill-cord IMO..

If your the type to forget to clip it on ...you're also probably the type to forget the wrist band....if you can discount electronics and over complicated Tec (especially when there's no need in the first place!) in the Salty Marine environment it is always a good idea...so why add to it?
I also like the fact (with the extremely well tested Bog standard Killcord) the engine cuts LONG BEFORE you're ACTULLY outta the Boat too!
If it ain't broken....

What's wrong with the normal killcord?
Seems some people are trying to reinvent the wheel .....

Walking around boat without kill engine I suppose.
With traditional kill cord it is not possible.
I understand that only when you jump to water and it equipment sinks it kill engine.

Just unclip it? The issue is remembering to put it back on hence these things have a market I guess.

Does it works for driver only ? I see benefit if each crew member can wear one.
Imagine one of the kids sitting back of me jumping off by accident.

In this case maybe it has some profit.

>>>>>>>

But how to go back and help him if engine be off - so no - not any profits. Simplest solution are the best I think. What if battery or sensor be dead.

You can read all that info on the website.

It has an override if batt fails etc or you lose the watch.

to be honest if you cant get any part of your body to the prop whilst wearing a killcord on a rib, its pointless. On a sib its a bit different and you have to do your best.
