we outfitted them and drove them over to Ribex only a few weeks ago, the 27 is a much nicer than the 23, awesome bits of kit. If you can afford it they are immense!

Looked really good in RIB mag - only thing that worries me are the stainless rails inside the tubes - if you fall onto them it will hurt!!!

yeah the rails inside are slightly odd, it may have just been me, but i thought the tubes were a slightly smaller diameter too, dunno, will have to check the spec.

Hello John.

Good to have met you and your son (Callum?) at Ribex.

I Liked both of the boats I was driving for Arctic Blue.

The weather on the Sunday evening was a little unpleasant when I took the 27 footer back to the Hamble.

It was a little rough at the entrance to Southampton water at Calshot and the Solent/Southampton water was generally choppy.

Conditions which would normally have felt uncomfortable in smaller boats. This one (like the 23 foot one) was a real pleasure to operate.
It took the sea extremely well, the seating, although different from the usual jockey or bench style, does feel very secure (the trick is to use the angled footplate at the base of the console)
I enjoyed the handling so much that I was reluctant to take the boat back in at the end of the day and ended up going for just one more spin along Southampton water.

She was doing 45 knots (Gps) with ease.

Give Geoff a call and arrange some more Sea trials. If you come down on a weekday I may be able to tag along too!

Regards
Robin

Tried the one located over here which came last year, we logged in 52 knoths on GPS but the accelaration was not impressive but could be as she was fitted with HiFive prop on Bravo OneX, personally I think Bravo III would have be better choice. The boat not been really used since to my knowledge I must give Kristjan a call to see what he is upto.
