well there is a lot to be said for having the proper capital for a job and not trying to do it in between a real job that doesn't involve my pet projects and two small kids. this is the difference between work and hobbies.

Your right, there is something very satisfying about a refurb - whatever it is.

Ive got a 1966 Bultaco 250 trials bike in the garage. Im just waiting for a wet and miserable winter when I can shut myself away in the man cave and restore it fully.

Its a small enough project which wont cost too much. Still cost more than its worth, but thats not the point.

Anyway - enough of that - this is a RIB forum.

Wow, that a blast from the past. Always had trials bikes from childhood (Yammie 80 & 175s, Fantic 305 and K-Roo) to more recently (Montesa 4RT, Beta Evo's) but jacked it all in as I was fed up with the kids beating me all the time

My new boating hobby is much better
