Anyone identify this RIB?

Named "Specialist - Jersey", I paced it out at around 14m. Fitted with triple Yamaha TRP drives and can't really tell you anything else!

Any ideas?

Maybe but its at least got to come from an existing moulding and/or built by a boat builder?

Yep, took these today, it's an impressive size if nothing else. Beats me how it's got Jersey written on it but I've never seen or heard of it before

Sweet Jesu, that's a big bird; I just went to have a look at it. I don't know if you paced it out but it must be 12 or 13 metres. Pity about that middle leg though; it's a bit low for skinny water.

Do you mean because of the local Madeiran connection?! M-Ribs are actually built in the Netherlands but I think you might have nailed it anyway. There's a few pointers to this being the same boat:

One of you must have a strange gait. Either that or you can't count.

The boat park was shut so I guessed the length by peering through the railings with my torch. Whatever the exact length, it's a whopper and that's for sure.

have a look in the marina and see if there's a large racing sail boat in there, that rib is the chase boat for it, i know they were having trouble a while back with the engine/leg set up, seem's unlikely there'd be 2 of them about so i'mguessing it's the same one

Madera

The Madeira bit was a play on words.

If it is a chase boat for a yacht I have a good idea who the owner is, and given the name it is probably his for sure. However, I am not going to post a name on a public forum

It's definitely 12m long; I paced it out this afternoon. Here's the website: http://www.m-ribs.com/index.php/MRCD...Cargo-Rib.html

The outboard version is shown with a crane lifting jetskis aboard: http://www.m-ribs.com/index.php/MRC1...Cargo-Rib.html
