anyone for boating on the Thames?

Not exactly a rib i know, but this is a Fairline Targa38 photo taken the morning after. There is a left handed bend in the river 75 meters before where he has come to rest at Shepperton. Aided by the reeds and grass he has slid up onto the bank and at least 25 yards along the top before comming to rest. No real apparent damage and only a few cuts and bruises.

i wouldnt like to speculate but the speed limit is around 5mph! i'm guessing he was going somewhat more than that to get a boat of over 8 tonnes right up the bank side!
