Another Searider!

Following the sale of my SR4m in the summer due to new babies and the like -the obvious thing to do was to buy a bigger 'family sized' boat...

I bought it on ebay a few weeks ago - came with a substantial twin axle trailer that I managed to sell to one of Rouge's mates - hope to be afloat soon maybe christmas on the solent!

Looks nice. Let us know how she rides? Is that an ex-mil? Orange hull, extra rubbing strake. I like the idea of the extra strake.

Thanks Boatster

Yes it is an ex-navy with the double skinning - certainly seems a more substantial build than my old 'civvy' 4m - came with a 1993 clamshell 75hp mariner - interestingly the previous owner had fitted a pump to speed clearance of the flooding hull - reckoned this helped it on to the plane when full of divers!

Hi Rogue - Phil Smith turned up in a very fine looking Discovery and took it away - nearly managed to sell him a rigid raider at the same time!
