Very sad news indeed. It just seems to keep on coming recently.

It must be terrible for the people around him and the competition, and the support crews. Entrapment or entanglement in a capsized boat is one of those things I sincerely hope never to have to deal with. A horrible incident.

Bart was a true gent of the sailing world. This is very tragic and another premature death of GB sailing talent. John Merricks, Glyn Charles and now Bart. Thoughts to his wife and family and other sailors who had the pleasure to know him.
