All Day Breakfast: Cowes

As a Cowes-ite I can recommend to you the breakfasts at The Octopus' Garden in Cowes High Street.

Andy

*I am in no way connected to said establishment but I like it.

Must have missed that one Andy.

Where is it?

From Town quay, up the side of 'The Fountain' into the High street, then Left or Right?

Nasher.

Town Quay> Right on to High Street>2 mins walk, opposite entrance to Island Sailing Club.

It's great if you like the Beatles for breakfast!
Proprietor is (was) a dead ringer for Hank Marvin.
After your all day breakfast, stop at the Deli for elevenses on your way to he Union for lunch!

I must disagree with Eegon's being hailed as number one - Eegon's is very good value and not to be faulted - the only problem is after 5 minutes in the unventilated premises you end up smelling like an alll day breakfast for some hours afterwards - it's a particularly lingering problem (or not if you are a big fan of the fry up) The Chief's persoanl recommendation is The Watch House which is about 40 feet to the west of the Octopus and not much further from Eegon's

Presentation is excellent and the quality of the food is just that bit better - having extensively researched this issue.

One final point - Eegon's does have one advantage - order the biggest breakfast on the menu and if completed you do receive a certificate to confirm your sheer greed - a Mr Creosote "Waaafer thin mint" moment

Great - nothing like prolonging the enjoyment.

Eegons is okay.

But the ambience and the coffee is far better at The Octopus' Garden, in my opinion.
