Your best bet would be to tie up at the little boat yard there and then walk the final 10 mins. It's very tidal so you'll need to time it carefully. Let me know if you want a contact at the yard.

There's no pontoon - just tie up to the quayside.

Interesting, the chart states there's a pontoon. I don't remember there being one! Either way, plenty of room to tie up.

Cheers Tim is that manageable all tides, just spoken to pub and it is a window of about 1 1/2 either side of high water. Even looking at adding Taxi from Yarmouth as a safety net

We go up to the new Inn a fair bit. I would say 2 hours either side but I always try go on the flood so theres more pub time. On the right day it is a beautiful spot. Came out of here once and managed to get weed caught in the water intake on the outboard - set an alarm off but no harm done.

Just on the quay - there are some wooden bollards on the top. Depending on when you go you could have a lot of tenders to use as fenders but lately when we have been for lunch it has been pretty quiet. The New Inn however always seems to be busy and booking is advised. It is a good spot to feel smug you own a rib actually as putting a hard boat of any size against the quay would require some bravery/stupidity

I tend to coordinate a trip with a lunch time spring high to give the biggest pub window. 4 hrs is quite manageable.

Went there last year and got told off for arriving in a 6,5 meter rib which they didnt class as a tender. Tempted do tell them I had my 65 foot sunseeker anchored off Newtown but decided against it. Tide should be good a couple of hours either side of high water as per previous comment. Great pub , have fun

Been there 3 or 4 times a year in recent times and never been told off! Visits by RIBs are fairly common place; when the tides are good and coincide with lunchtime there can often be 3 or 4 boats alongside. Nice walk up the valley to the pub; I've never booked, but always got a table.
