I think its coastline that Nasher and Dan Worth use, they seem very happy with them.

There used to be a member on here called Martin that owned a Coastline 6.5 for a little while, I think he sold it to Zippy. I think both were happy with it.

Try PMing Zippy as he's still an active member here.

yup

we had a 6 meter one and it was a great boat. one of the best riding boats i have been in and much softer than it should have been given its length!

we looked at some before going down the Cougar route. i know they are doing some new stuff at the moment so well worth a look!

whenever i have spoken to them, brian has always been happy to talk and very easy to deal with.

I had a good look over the Coastline 8.5 at Ribex, with the lad who was demonstrating them and who apparently does the installation work. Head in all the hatches etc and I have to say I was very impressed. Seemed very well built.
This one had twin Suzi 250's and apparently is the first one they have built. Is it possible that this is the one for sale? Where did you see it?

Coastline 8.5m

I went to see the setup at Coastline Ribs last week and went out on the 8.5m that was at Ribex I also went out on the 7m. The 8.5m is a customer’s boat, they use it for demo's etc, it was the first 8.5m they have built, and Number 2 is in the mould at the moment. I have taken out Scorpions, Parkers, Ribtecs, Avon’s and I own a Ribcraft at the moment, so I have felt how a few different hulls handle. It was really messy in the Solent, but I think the 8.5 Coastline is one of the most impressive boats I have been out in for a long while! With 500hp on tap it really preformed, but she still felt very composed in the rough. The 7m was also a fantastic ride, very soft on entry with a 24 degree dead rise. Great RIB's with a bright future I think.

i have a coastline 7m, had a 6 before, i really like the boats. both mine have stern drives rather than o/b's, but my mate has a 6.5 with o/b and he loves his boat too.

the 8.5 with twin 250's on it is the new wider beam boat.

they have 3 width models the standard width is up to 7m, the mid width is 7-8.5 and then the wide is 8.5-10 m.
