5.4m dream 3d tender

Hi all,

Just after some advice on a brand new "dream" 5.4m 3D tender rib.
Comes with a 60Hp merc on the back with 68 hours use. (2 years old)
All in with brand new trailor 16k.

Anyone have any advice on these boats or price.

The engine seems top end of the price range (5k), but to get a newish second hand motor at the moment is rare as rocking horse shit.

Any feedback much appreciated.

Have you spoken to Ocean First Marine? They may have some demo models or give you an idea of a new price

As far as similar boats Treerat here has a 3D Tender

I have had a go on one of their alu hulled ribs and they seem well put together

These look like lovely boats and excellent value.

I think a 60hp on a 5.4 is underpowered however

Cheers guys.
Yeah Ocean First Marine is who I ve contacted.

I think the max rated HP for the boat is 75. So that means price wise it's probably going to be out of my budget. Plus fuel economy, weight, and serving costs will be more expensive.
In an ideal world I'd go for it but I've been told I should get up to 30 knots with this set up.
And yes, treerat gave a glowing review. Before I take the plunge, I just wanted to put it out there again as I have some prices to go on.
I presume the engine is priced OK? Like I said, maybe a bit on the high side, but in the current climate when your waiting till next year for a new merc, it's about supply and demand. Second hand stuff seems to be sold in hours at the moment so I'm lucky to have got this.
