25Lt clear plastic containers

I need to drain some (possibly contaminated) petrol out of my internal tank and need a couple of the clear plastic containers. Anyone know where I can pick some up, ideally Fareham area but Southampton or Portsmouth are possible?

Camping shops tend to have them - maybe a bargain due to the 'summer' weather ? All the same shops down this way are desperate to flog anything they can !

Thanks Peter

I will give that a try, I did look in a small local camping shop but they only had the collapsible type that is for water only. Was a bit worried that I might get 25 litres of unleaded sloshing around in the boot after it melted!!

Carwash is a good bet. Pools are a possible, but avoid the chemical drums. The local Chinese restaurant is a possible too - commercial detergents are supplied in them. Most of them are 20L, BTW.

I have some very classy black ones that I haul fuel in

So if the local car wash is a no go, looks like I could be in for a takeaway tonight!!

Fish keeping shops also sell them (for RO water).

I'm sure the 'elf and safety brigade will have something to say about non-orange, unapproved containers though...

I'll add another vote for Solent Plastics. They stock a massive range of stuff and have some great deals too. We got a load of "crocodile" boxes for work - they were used but you wouldn't know it and less than half the normal price.
