1st IOM TRIP

BRILLIANT!!!
After many weeks and months trying to prepare for what would be our biggest trip on our old Northcraft, weather watching and gathering priceless knowledge and advice from this forum, we finally made it there, stayed the weekend and back again without hiccup... albeit a little out of my comfort zone on our return trip for the first 20 mins or so. Brilliant weekend, fantastic weather and the atmosphere was electric. Those guys going round that circuit must take their brains out before a race!!!
And a special thanks to Brian from the forum for keeping me right at the marina and a lift to the campsite [emoji106]

I'll post a few pics and videos if anyone would be interested!Click image for larger version

Well done, the first big one is a nail-biter - we had a lot of fun back in 2010 in the 6.5m doing that run - great lads on the IOM - swung back to see them last Autumn, great that they're still welcoming RIBnetters to their corner of paradise

In retrospect Tim, you left at exactly the right time.
The weather here is markedly less kind today!
