Zodiac Futura Mk 3

Hello..

I have a good condition Mk 3 with Air Floor that has delaminated and beyond repair. The rest of the RIB is in good condition. Im hoping I can replace deck with standard aluminium panels etc. I did hear that the Air Floors dont last long and presume somone has had simmliar issue. Any advice very welcome.

Zodiac air floors tend to last about 10-15 years if they don't go bad due to spilling gasoline on them.

The worry is that the polyester inside will begin to degrade, and it will develop a "bubble tumor". It's a very random occurrence though, I've only seen it happen three times in all the time I've been working on inflatables.

If the material surface is not discolored from UV or hydrocarbon exposure though, you're probably okay. Make sure you only utilize the floor at the proper inflation, or it may cause the threads to be overstressed during operation, which may cause the failure.
