Quicksilver 365 - Towing opinions needed

Hi there,

I have recently purchased a Quicksilver 365 with a 20HP Mariner EFI outboard.

I have always wanted to a donut or something of that nature behind an inflatable like this, however have always been concerned about what stresses this will put on the transom.

I would really love to know your opinions on this matter.

my opinion is that is should be fine and that quicksilver's are strongly made boats.

Kind regards,
Jack

Hi Jack,

Reckon you’ll have no trouble.

We’ve towed ringo’s, kneeboards, wakeboards with all our 3.5 to 3.8m sibs over the years with no problems. Even ok with the Zodiacs, which have the flimsiest transoms known to man.

Pop on some u-bolts or eye bolts with large penny washers to spread the load, plus a tow bridle, and you’ll be good to go.

Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the reply. Nice to hear that the 365 did you well. The responses here and other forums give me confidence that with good throttle application, everything should be fine.

Cheers,

Jack
