I remember my friends Zodiac Mk 2.
He was a Frenchman called Michelle who was a diver.
Maybe you know him, poulot?
Yes, of course you do-he is French and so are you!
Anyway I would go round my brother-in-laws house in the morning-he is a BSAC instructor-and learn stringently how to do diving stuff under his eagle eye.
Then, I would go out in Michelles Zodiac in the afternoon and DO EVERYTHING COMPLETELY WRONG. Not because I had forgotten what I had learned in the morning, but because Michelle WAS A MAD B********d!!
Anyway I survived rolling the boat in the surf, finding not only our dive spot but actually finding our way back in thick fog, staying down too deep and too long and getting the bends etc etc.
I reckon I learned diving and boat handling more out of those sessions than anything BSAC could teach me.
